Vinyl (PVC) is today's all-rounder: water-resistant, quiet, warm underfoot and an excellent match with underfloor heating. Click vinyl is floated; glue-down vinyl is fully bonded and puts the highest demands on the subfloor — imperfections show through.

Labour runs € 15 to € 30 per m², excluding the floor itself; glue-down work sits at the top of that band. For a complete job expect € 225 to € 1,500 in labour. If levelling is needed first, it should be itemised separately in the quote.
